Tapestry Crochet Puffer Fish

It’s time for the next square in my sea creatures bunting, this time it’s this green puffer fish.

Puffer fish

I’ve made him using Stylecraft Special DK as I like the colours it comes in, and think it’s good value for money, but you can choose whichever yarn you have to hand, it’s not so important for this pattern. The only thing changing yarn will alter is the finished size of the flag, and as long as they’re all the same it doesn’t matter too much.

If you’d like a tutorial for tapestry crochet, I’ve written one on the starfish flag, so just hop over to my free patterns page on here and you’ll be able to find it.

Here’s the graph for downloading

I’d really love to see anything you make from my pattern, just so I know I’m not talking to myself 😆 leave a comment below or tag me on Instagram @Ditzy.and.Dotty

Tapestry crochet Ray

Do you remember this little guy?

He’s the little starfish from my tapestry crochet tutorial.

Well he’s getting some friends, and I’ll be putting the charts up for free each week.

Each block is approximately 5 inches x 6 inches with a 3mm hook or 4.5 inches x 7 inches if you use a 4mm hook.

As the pattern is a graph you can use it for knitting, crochet, c2c crochet, cross stitch, beadwork, patchwork, and anything else you can possibly think of 😃

Without further ado, here is today’s block….

I love this little Ray so much I’ve been playing around with the pattern and have made him a 3D companion.

I’ve used Stylecraft Special DK to make this one, but you could use any yarn and colours that you fancy.

Click below to download the pdf file for the Ray patch, and then you can get started on him.

And this is what I’ve made from all of the patches:

As usual I’d love to see anything you make from my pattern, just leave a comment below or tag me on Instagram @ditzyanddotty
