Tapestry Crochet Seahorse

Yay! Part 2 of my tapestry crochet bunting is ready for you today.

If you’re new to my blog just a quick recap, I’m going to be posting a tapestry crochet graph each week until there are 9 squares. At the end you can make this colourful bunting:

This week’s graph is for this cute seahorse.

I’ve used Stylecraft Special DK to make him but you can use any yarn and colours you fancy.

Each block is approximately 5 inches x 6 inches with a 3mm hook or 4.5 inches x 7 inches if you use a 4mm hook. But the size will change depending on your yarn and tension. Just make sure you use the same size hook for all of the panels otherwise you’ll end up with different sized flags.

As the pattern is a graph you can use it for knitting, crochet, c2c crochet, cross stitch, beadwork, patchwork, and anything else you can possibly think of 😃

And finally if you are new to tapestry crochet pop over to my patterns page and you can find a tapestry crochet tutorial and the chart for a starfish square.

Here is the chart for you to download

I hope you enjoy making the bunting, and don’t forget to tag me on Instagram @ditzy.and.dotty or leave a comment on here so I can see what you make.

Happy Hooking
